Wyoming Board for Respiratory Care

The Board's Practice Act, or Statute, can be found in Wyoming Statute § 33-43-101 through 118.


Based on this statutory authority, the Board filed rules effective May 15, 2014.

PUBLIC NOTICE FOR PROPOSED RULES OF

THE WYOMING STATE BOARD FOR RESPIRATORY CARE


Public notice is hereby given that the Wyoming State Board for Respiratory Care is proposing changes to the following:


Chapter 1: Removing Sections 2,3,4, and 5 as unnecessary language and adding incorporations by reference.

Chapter 2: Repeal due to language mirroring statute.

Chapter 3: Clarification to align with the statute and correct grammatical errors.

Chapter 4: Amending to offer one category of the renewal fee and appropriately adjusting for increased administrative costs.

Chapter 5: Amending to better clarify CE requirements.

Chapter 6: Clean up language mirroring statute and correct grammatical errors.

Chapters 7-11: Repeal Chapter 7 & 8 and consolidate within new Chapters 10 & 11. Chapters 10 & 11 clarify the investigation and discipline process and align those procedures with the procedures of other professional licensing boards.

Written comments will be accepted at the following address through December 19, 2022.

Commenters may request a statement of principal reasons for overruling the consideration urged by the commenter. If requested, the statement will be issued either prior to or within thirty (30) days after agency action.
